In a previous blog, we shared how you can use Jemi templates to create your own website or digital portfolio, especially if creating one from scratch is a bit daunting to do. Today, we’ll be discussing how you can allow others to duplicate your webpage, especially if it’s one that you want others to use as a template! And it’s a very simple thing to do:
- On your dashboard under “My Websites,” click the “Edit website” option on the site you wish to make changes to
- On the left side of the website editor, where the menu bar is located, look under the “Website” tab and click on “Other settings”
- Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and toggle the button for “Allow duplicate as template” to the right, to turn it on
And there you have it! Now others will have the option to use your website template as a template for their own pages. A big reason for the launch of this new feature is to further bring our Jemi community together by featuring individuals on the “Templates” page and generate inspiration for all of the creative freedom you can have with a Jemi website. Hope you enjoyed today’s tutorial and hope to see you in our template gallery very soon!
